COMPANY HISTORY
Anderson
Clark Motor Repairs was formed in 1996 by partners David Anderson
and Graham Clark in a two bay workshop offering quality service without a premium price.
In 2002 we moved to a state of the art, brand new workshop facility with six bays and now with 11 staff. We offer full mechanical motor vehicle repairs, MOT testing, diagnostic checks and repairs as well as towbar fitting.
We have always had an ethos of providing quality at an affordable price, giving honest advice and not exploiting our customers.
Tragically in 2006 David died as a result of a motoring accident.
You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can shed tears because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can still remember him and only that he has gone,
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what he'd want - smile, open your eyes, love - and go on.

David Anderson, a founding partner of Anderson Clark Motor Repairs of Inverness, has been tragically killed in a motoring accident. It occurred on Sunday, 4th June when Mr Anderson's motorbike collided with a car on the A82 near Fort Augustus. Mr Anderson, 39, started the business 10 years ago with his friend Graham Clark. Together they built up a business that has become a household name in the Inverness area, with growth also coming from their appointment as a Bosch Service Centre when the network was set up in 2003.
Graham Clark said that he was devastated at the loss. "David was not only my business partner but also my long standing and very close friend. His death is a great loss personally and to the business that we have built together. my thoughts are now with his wife Allison and their two young daughters, Louise and Rachel to whom David was a terrific husband and father"
Mr Clark said that David Anderson enjoyed a good reputation within the business community in the area and members of the motor trade throughout the Highlands. "He was known to be highly-skilled technically and a very personable man to do business with. He will be greatly missed." |
